How this glossary was built

Starting from Statbel's open data catalog (485 datasets, 214 field dictionaries, 2,089 distinct column names), the terms were analysed, grouped into five glossaries and defined following a standard and a guideline. They were then loaded and approved in OpenMetadata. This page is generated from the catalog by a small script, so it always shows the governed content.

Something unclear or missing?

In a real organisation, users ask their question on the term page of the catalog and the owner answers; a new term or a change follows the review and approval process of the standard. Here, the content is a demonstration on public data.
